Our Platform

I want to put forward practical solutions for Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu's future. I listen to residents' concerns, and I believe in collaboration among local economic and community partners.

Four priorities for Saint-Jean

A practical vision grounded in the realities of our region

My vision

I want to put forward practical solutions, listen to residents' concerns, and work with Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu's economic and community partners.

01

The cost of living and social fabric

In recent years, the cost of living has placed enormous pressure on residents. We need to act.

  • Introduce tools that support home ownership and remove barriers to faster construction and more affordable housing.
  • Listen to needs and work with local and regional social and community organizations to help residents in need.

The Liberal team will be present in the community to better understand people's realities and needs.

02

Economic prosperity

An economy that unlocks the full potential of small businesses.

I want to support the prosperity of our businesses while making life easier for entrepreneurs.

  • Accelerate tax relief for small businesses.
  • Encourage investment and productivity to create economic value.
  • Ensure local entrepreneurs have access to a strong, skilled workforce, including by recognizing the positive contribution of temporary foreign workers.
  • Champion the potential of the agri-food sector, an invaluable regional resource.

Saint-Jean's small businesses drive regional economic development. We must listen to them and support their ambitions.

03

Public services

Public services that live up to the taxes we pay.

  • Hold a province-wide education summit and review the entire system.
  • Provide access to public telemedicine, train more professionals rooted in the region, and improve care and support at home.
  • Improve local and regional mobility for both people and goods.
  • Maintain public infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, roads, and water treatment systems.

To deliver strong public services, Quebec urgently needs to elect a Liberal government that will restore order to public finances.

04

Culture

Proud of our culture, Saint-Jean's many cultural events, large and small, benefit both their artists and their passionate audiences.

  • Make cultural events a driver of regional visibility.
  • Support our artists and place culture at the heart of our shared future.

Celebrating our region and its communities requires us to champion culture. It is part of our soul.
