Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, August 27, 2026 – Patrice Léger Bourgoin, Quebec Liberal Party candidate in Saint-Jean, supports his party's proposal to change the rules of the game to open public procurement to Quebec SMEs.

A Liberal government commits to:

Opening public procurement further to companies that create value here;
Buying better, not simply cheaper;
Abolishing the lowest-compliant-bidder rule;
Making the State a simpler, faster and more reliable customer;
Reducing payment terms to 30 days;
Ensuring the State is the first to give innovative companies a chance.
