Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, September 6, 2026 – Patrice Léger Bourgoin, Quebec Liberal Party candidate in Saint-Jean, welcomes his party's commitment to the agricultural community: $560M over four years to give farmers the means to produce, invest and grow their businesses.

A Liberal government commits to:

Redistributing $560M over four years to farmers;
Reforming La Financière agricole du Québec into a true development partner;
Adapting our agricultural programs to regional realities;
Making the next generation of farmers a priority in all government programs;
Developing financing solutions tailored to the next generation of farmers;
Facilitating the transfer of farm businesses;
Ensuring the sustainability of the Travailleurs de rang farmer-support workers;
Launching a regulatory simplification initiative in the agri-food sector;
Developing regional agri-food logistics hubs;
Giving Quebec food a bigger place in public institutions by developing regional partnerships between Quebec agri-food businesses and public institutions;
Creating a funding program to deploy food-voucher initiatives that strengthen short supply chains across all Quebec territories.
